Actor Seonghun said while fishing that fishing and life are similar.
On the 19th a video titled "When life is the hardest" was posted on the YouTube channel Seonghunhae. That day Seonghun reflected on life while fishing.
Seonghun found a fishing spot he visits whenever he is having a hard time. There he opened up, "(Fishing) is the same as life when it comes to parts you can't do by your own strength. No matter how much you try, when it doesn't work, it doesn't work."
He went on to say, "When you live, hard things keep happening regardless of will. Sometimes you overcome them through effort, but there are times when even with help from others and your own efforts you cannot overcome them. At those times, letting things be and letting time pass is not a bad method."
Later Seonghun said, "If I could take these memories and go back to the past, I think I would live wisely and prudently. I think I would enjoy life and use my time happily," which drew attention.
Seonghun was embroiled in an attitude controversy when he appeared on the tvN variety show "Line up for restaurants" in 2022. At the time he saw a long line in front of a restaurant and said, "I can't stand in line. If there's even one person waiting, I go to the place next door right away."
He was also criticized as unhygienic and rude for actions such as eating food with the tongs he had used to grill meat during the meal or appearing to wipe sweat from his head.
As the controversy grew, Seonghun's side apologized, saying, "We were trying to be entertaining, so some parts may have been excessive," and "We apologize if viewers felt uncomfortable. We will be more careful going forward."
