On the 20th the YouTube channel 'Epik High' uploaded a video titled 'Family gathering ft. Big Bang.' That day Epik High gathered to celebrate Big Bang's comeback.
Daesung said he remembered Epik High's first impression and recalled, "Our first broadcast (in the waiting room) had the hyungs in the next room; the rooms were attached to each other. The wall was thin like a partition."
He added, "They probably were number one then. I heard Tablo hyung shout the agency president's name and say, 'Hooray! He's giving a 20 million won allowance,'" which made people laugh.
Daesung remembered, "When I heard that I thought, 'How do you get allowance like that? Real rock stars are like that,'" and Taeyang reacted that he remembered that incident, while Tooksoo joked, "You need the full story for this."
Tablo said, "We never even received 2,000 won as allowance," and explained, "We knew you were in the next room. Aren't you YG? But our company was barely a company. It barely had a business registration certificate."
Tooksoo elaborated, "Our company wasn't medium-sized; it was small. There were only two employees," and Tablo added, "I didn't want to feel inferior. YG was next door, you had many members and staff and looked flashy, but even though we were number one we felt so shabby that we acted a bit boastful."
He continued, "There were rookie singers around. If those companies heard this they'd tell their artists to take better care of them. We were treated so poorly," which added warmth to the story.
