BigHit Music's youth hip-hop support project 'BIGHIT MUSIC HIT IT BASE 2026' (hereinafter 'HIT IT BASE 2026') final show concluded successfully amid enthusiastic excitement.
BigHit Music held the 'HIT IT BASE 2026' final show on the 16th at Seongam Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In front of about 300 spectators who filled the venue, the participants unleashed the skills they had polished.
The 20 participants completed an intensive five-week curriculum from July 11 to Aug. 9 covering hip-hop history, styling and song production. YLN Foreign, MacDaddy, Bu Hyun-seok and Choi LB of the hip-hop scene served as mentors, providing hands-on training from songwriting, rhymes and beats to stage gestures to raise the level of completion. The participants worked directly on the tracks they would present at the final show with the mentor team and professional engineers.
The final show was held as a tournament competition among four teams. The participants took the stage with four mentors and delivered solid performances with raps they had written themselves. As the roughly six-week journey meaningfully concluded amid explosive support from the audience, the winning team selected by on-site votes, "Galaxy," will have the opportunity to appear on the popular web variety show "UV Room."
At the event, dancer 아이키 served as the MC, and rapper Nowaimyoung took the celebration stage and raised the excitement.
Meanwhile, "HIT IT BASE" is a youth support project that BigHit Music has continued since 2010, and since 2021 it has evolved from a competition format into a specialized training and growth platform for teenage boys.<
