Actor Hong Min-gi is embroiled in allegations of dating violence, and his agency is currently organizing its position.
On the 19th, influencer A, who has about 20,000 followers, posted an exposé targeting Hong Min-gi on their personal channel and released a certified letter sent through a law firm.
A posted a photo of Hong Min-gi and said, "The previous story is about this person," directly identifying Hong Min-gi as the subject of the allegations.
The certified letter written on July 28 was titled "notice of legal action for illegal criminal acts," and the document contained allegations that Hong Min-gi threw a dangerous object at A, assaulted and threatened them, among other claims.
According to A's side, Hong Min-gi threw a soju bottle at them on the street and broke it. He also allegedly called dozens of times suspecting that A had slept with another man, and at a later meeting made remarks that implied killing.
Through the certified letter, A alleged that Hong Min-gi struck and shoved their shoulder forcefully and grabbed their neck, and claimed that Hong Min-gi invaded their privacy by secretly checking their cellphone and KakaoTalk messages.
However, the content disclosed so far consists of allegations raised by A in the certified letter, and the facts have not been clearly established. Hong Min-gi's side said they are "currently organizing their position" and declined to comment.
Hong Min-gi was born in 2002 and, after debuting in 2020, appeared in dramas such as "Night Has Come", "Love Your Enemy", "Study Group", "Crushology 101", "Unmasked", "To My Beloved Thief", and "Doctor on the Edge".
