As actor Hong Min-gi became embroiled in allegations of dating violence, his agency denied the claims.
Hong Min-gi's agency, Fable Company, on the 19th refuted the dating violence allegations, saying they were "not true." It added, "We are reviewing the details internally."
Earlier that day, influencer A said on her social networking service (SNS) that she was assaulted by Hong Min-gi. A said she sent a document titled "Notice of impending legal action for illegal criminal acts" through a law firm.
A disclosed claims including, "He threw a soju bottle toward the complainant on the street," and "He assaulted by striking the shoulder hard, shoving, and grabbing the neck." She then posted a photo of Hong Min-gi with the caption, "Yes, it's the person from the previous story," revealing that the person she identified was Hong Min-gi.
Meanwhile, Hong Min-gi, born in 2002, began acting in 2020. In tvN's "Love Your Enemy," he appeared as the younger version of Seok Ji-won, played by Ju Jihoon, gaining recognition. He later appeared in MBC's "Crushology 101," Netflix's "Unmasked," and KBS2's "To My Beloved Thief."
