The group Hearts2Hearts showcased their presence with an opening performance and ceremonial first pitch at a professional baseball special game.
Hearts2Hearts attended the special game "SAISON presents Special Nighter" hosted by the Saitama Seibu Lions at the Tokyo Dome on the 18th.
Hearts2Hearts appeared on the field before the start of the game wearing sporty uniforms that highlighted each member's individuality and delivered a lively, confident energy with a Japanese version performance of their hit "RUDE!" in front of 40,000 spectators.
Then member Jiu surprised local baseball fans with a ceremonial first pitch to signal the start of the game. Other members also cheered Jiu on vigorously, showcasing their strong teamwork.
Hearts2Hearts's popularity in Japan is hot. Their first Japanese single "ICONIC HEART", released on the 12th, ranked No. 2 on the Oricon weekly singles chart and the Billboard Japan top single sales chart (both for the Aug. 10–16 tracking period).
According to Oricon, it set the highest first-week sales record among first singles by female artists who debuted in Japan this year.
