Actress Park So-dam confessed the days she battled thyroid cancer.
On the 18th broadcast of MBC 'Playlist 109' (hereinafter 'Plee'), Lee Jun, Lee Seokhoon and DinDin met Park So-dam, and Park So-dam revealed her past struggle overcoming thyroid cancer.
That day Park So-dam opened up saying, "During the filming of the movie 'Phantom' my stamina didn't pick up and it was hard. I was depressed and like that. So after finishing filming I felt I couldn't do my part and I told the seniors I was sorry."
She said she was so busy at the time that she was doing six projects a year and thought her falling stamina was because of burnout. But afterward she said she was diagnosed with cancer at the hospital.
Park So-dam recalled, "I was with my mother then. But I couldn't look toward my mother. I went out and went straight to eat, and when I told my father he went out. He probably went out crying."
Park So-dam explained, "My face is big on the movie poster but I couldn't promote it at all. They said I had to have surgery right away, so I had general anesthesia and surgery," and added, "It took six months to find my voice again before the surgery. I pressed my sun cap down and walked around Seokchon Lake and cried a lot," evoking sympathy.
