Actor Yoon Jin revealed a harrowing experience in which she almost became a victim in a disappearance case.
On the 18th, a video titled "I call it a Gangwon-do trip but it reads like I almost died on Mindungsan..." was uploaded to the 'Real Yoon Jin' channel.
That day Yoon Jin said, "Today my mother came up to Seoul. She gave me a gift. She decided to watch the children so my husband and I could have a good time together. So my brother and I are planning to go on a healing trip for 2 Days & 1 Night. My brother and I plan to heal by eating delicious food and spend a happy time together," she said.
Afterward, Yoon Jin left for a trip to Gangwon-do with her husband. After unpacking at the accommodation and having dinner, the two walked along a nearby walking trail and talked.
Then Yoon Jin recounted, "This is a bit scary, but after a drama finished long ago I went to Chuncheon to eat dakgalbi and I was so full. I said, 'I'll walk by myself for a bit,' and walked this kind of road alone. There was a Chuncheon dakgalbi place here, and if you go out this way you get to the roadside. A van started following me," she recalled of the situation.
She explained, "When I stopped, the van stopped too. So I made a U-turn and it made a U-turn and came after me again. It felt like it would take longer than expected to get back to the dakgalbi restaurant. Suddenly my manager came and said, 'Jin-ssi, why are you here? We were looking all over for you.' I thought, 'I'm saved,' but wouldn't the manager have run to me? Yet that van kept coming."
She continued, "The manager was also very scared. He sensed something was off. So when there were only a few meters left we both ran. We didn't look back at the car and just sprinted with all our might. We got into our car and my hands and feet were trembling. I couldn't sleep that night," she said, adding, "I was told there are blind spots with no CCTV there. Many disappearance cases happen there. I almost disappeared. That happened. So I haven't gone far since then. That thought comes to mind," she recounted the harrowing situation and surprised viewers.
Meanwhile, Yoon Jin married Kim Tae-geun, a securities industry worker who is four years her senior, in 2022 and has two daughters.
