Jimin of BTS hugged a young fan battling an intractable disease and kissed her on the cheek.
On the 15th (local time), Jimin spotted a fan named Olivia who is battling pediatric cancer in the audience during the "ARIRANG" world tour concert at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and approached her himself.
The moment was shared on social media (SNS) of the U.S. nonprofit "Heroes for Children," which supports children with cancer and their families.
In the video, Jimin made eye contact with Olivia, handed her a keepsake, patted her head, and exchanged greetings. He then held the child in his arms and lightly kissed her on the cheek.
Olivia beamed and shouted to those around her, "I got a kiss." Olivia reportedly came to the BTS concert through a program that supports the wishes of children with intractable diseases.
Heroes for Children shared the video and expressed gratitude to BTS and Jimin for giving Olivia a memory she will remember for a lifetime. After the video was released, fans wished for Olivia's health.
