Singer Oh Yujin showcased a more mature charm as she shared her transformation to blonde hair and her successful diet story.
Oh Yujin (signed to Totalset) appeared on the March 19 broadcast of MBC Standard FM Son Tae Jin's Trot Radio (hereafter "SonTora") where she revealed not only her characteristic bright energy but also a deepened inner self.
Appearing with a bold blonde styling, Oh Yujin said, "I bleached my hair nine times for promotions of the new song and also succeeded in losing weight. Last winter I got into desserts and when I appeared on "SonTora" at that time I was at the heaviest weight of my life, but I firmly resolved and completed my diet," she said, revealing the behind-the-scenes of her noticeably prettier visuals.
She then introduced the new song "What are you doing, fox?" saying, "It is a song I really put my life into preparing," and added, "I challenged a new direction with synth-pop rather than traditional trot. To give the feeling of seducing people like a fox, I changed my vocal technique and carefully worked on the performance. It will be a stepping stone to show my ultimate goal that the name Oh Yujin itself is a genre," after which she flawlessly delivered a live performance and choreography on the spot.
In particular, Oh Yujin captured attention by expressing a mature set of values and candid convictions about the future not typical of someone in their teens. She said, "I actually wish my 30s would come sooner," adding, "I look forward to my 20s, but I genuinely envy the relaxed atmosphere that only your 30s can exude.
