KOYOTE Shinji addressed allegations of double jaw surgery.
On the 19th, a video titled "I will now tell you the story many of you were curious about" was posted on the YouTube channel 'How are you?!?'.
That day, Shinji said, "While I was taking a short break from our YouTube channel, I decided to restart dental treatment. Because of jaw joint or dental treatment issues, some people keep misunderstanding something," addressing recent allegations of double jaw surgery.
She added, "I thought it might be good to resolve the things people are most curious about and want to know, so I came to the dentist today."
When the production team asked, "What kind of treatment are you receiving?", Shinji replied, "For now, the dentist has finished deciding what to do, and I'm starting the first treatment today. So I raised the lower molars a bit. To prevent the jaw from being pushed back."
Before treatment, Shinji said that due to an open bite, "I couldn't bite food off. So in the past I had lengthened some teeth. But now that I'm someone who appears on broadcasts, many people say it doesn't look good."
She also said, "As I kept shaving down the teeth a little from top and bottom, the molars actually became higher. The jaw was open, but the front lower teeth became shorter, so when I closed my mouth it actually looked more awkward, and even to me I wondered, 'Oh, why does Shinji's mouth look like that?'"
Shinji said she visited the dentist to lower the height she had raised the jaw. She said, "If you remove it entirely, the jaw will be pushed back more, so you can't remove it completely. We're going to lower what we had raised on the jaw molars and take off the top and bottom to make new teeth."
She explained, "Thinking about the functional structure, the upper and lower teeth became somewhat long. If you don't raise the height of the jaw, it will keep being pushed back. Teeth grinding will be severe, so this has to be taken into account," and said that starting from the bottom up to the upper teeth, it finished in early Sept.
