Group i-dle member Soyeon will join the September comeback lineup.
On the 19th, her agency Cube Entertainment Corp. said i-dle's Soyeon will return as a solo singer in early September.
This solo activity is Soyeon's first in 5 years and 2 months since her solo mini album 1st 'Windy', released in July 2021.
Soyeon, i-dle's leader and a "self-producing artist" who created mega-hits such as "TOMBOY," "Nxde," "Queencard," and "I hate being sick (Fate)," was promoted to a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2024, and this year i-dle was selected for Forbes' "30 Under 30 Asia," recognizing their distinctive musical capabilities.
Under the producer name icebluerabbit, she participated in i-dle's digital single "Mono (Feat. skaiwater)", released last January, showcasing an even more expanded musical world. At the "2026 i-dle world tour [Syncopation]," she surprised audiences by revealing her solo song "ICE BLUE RABBIT," receiving praise.
A representative said the music and messages Soyeon will present as a solo singer are drawing attention, noting her activities on many global stages including i-dle's fourth world tour and the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, United States.
