Group Blackpink member Jeesoo mourned Mathilde Favier, Dior's head of publicity, who passed away.
On the 18th Jeesoo posted on her personal SNS, "To my dear Mathilde. It is difficult to find words to say goodbye to you," and posted a lengthy message.
That day Jeesoo said, "From the moment the journey with Dior began you welcomed me warmly and kindly. For years we shared countless special moments, and I will always be grateful for the care and love and support you showed me," she said.
She continued, "Because of you Paris felt like another home to me. The birthdays we celebrated together, the times families spent together, and the precious memories we shared there I will always cherish. I was looking forward to meeting again in Paris to celebrate together, so this farewell feels even harder," she said.
Jeesoo said, "You were truly beautiful both inside and out, and I feel very fortunate to have known you and had you as a special presence in my life," and mourned, "I send my deep condolences to your family and to everyone who knew and loved you."
Finally Jeesoo added, "I will miss you very much. I will always keep our memories in my heart. Rest in peace. I will never forget you."
Meanwhile, local reports say Mathilde Favier died in a traffic accident in western France. She was 56.
The deceased was Dior's publicity officer and developed a relationship with Jeesoo whenever Jeesoo attended Dior fashion shows and other brand events, earning the nickname "Paris mom" for Jeesoo.
