'Tazza 4' actor Byun Yo-Han expressed regret over Japanese actor Miyoshi Ayaka's absence from the production briefing.
On the 18th morning at Seoul CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, a production briefing was held for the film Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub (Tazza 4). attending were lead actors Byun Yo-Han, Roh Jae Won, Kim Min-ho, Lim Se-mi, Moon ji-hoon (Swings), director Choi Guk-hee, and others. originally, Japanese actor Miyoshi Ayaka, who is appearing in a Korean film for the first time, was scheduled to attend, but she did not participate due to health reasons.
The final installment of Huh Young-man's original Tazza series, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub (director Choi Guk-hee, distributed by CJ ENM, produced by Sidus), is a crime drama about Jang Tae-young (played by Byun Yo-Han), who thought he had the world after building an online casino business, and his close friend with the same name Park Tae-young (played by Roh Jae Won), who stole everything from him; they meet again on a global gambling stage and engage in a final showdown of revenge.
Tazza began with the 2006 release starring Cho Seung-woo and Kim Hye-soo, followed by Tazza: The Hand of God (2014) and Tazza: One Eyed Jack (2019), and has received much love. the new Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, released after seven years, has an original worldview and individuality, drawing even more attention.
If the three previously released films over the past 20 years shared the same universe, the final installment Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub is a completely independent work with its own universe. it vividly depicts a global gambling stage that spans Korea, Japan and Vietnam, and in addition to gambling, the glamorous world of holdem sports is also anticipated.
That day, MC Park Kyung-lim said, "Actor Miyoshi Ayaka could not attend the production briefing due to unavoidable health reasons. she is very disappointed," and added, "She asked me to convey her apologies to the Korean reporters. we ask for your generous understanding."
Byun Yo-Han gave a passionate performance as Jang Tae-young, who has controlled the game with natural luck and animalistic intuition and ridden a road to success. after plunging to the bottom in an instant because of a betrayal by a close partner, he is a gambler who returns to the table driven only by revenge.
Byun Yo-Han said, "Japanese actor Miyoshi Ayaka had been counting down to this day. I say 'arigatou gozaimasu,'" and added, "While shooting overseas this time, we filmed with actors who speak different languages in unfamiliar countries, and although the languages were different, there was a lot to be thankful for. through the media I felt that emotions and sensibilities I had imagined connect well even when words don't."
He continued, "It was a very enjoyable time with all the actors. the Vietnamese staff were extremely passionate," and said, "I think rather I received help from those friends. I am grateful to the Vietnamese staff as well." in response, Park Kyung-lim added, "Miyoshi Ayaka was said to have been waiting for Korean promotions and official events and had even practiced the song, so it's regrettable, but I hope we can meet her at the next opportunity."
Meanwhile, the finale of the Tazza series, Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub, opens on Sept. 23 for the Chuseok season.<
