Comedians Heo Kyunghwan and Jang Do-youn expressed their affection for Shin Dong-yeob.

Heo Kyunghwan said, "I call him senior, but others have become very close. I really hate that," and added, "To me he is a truly great senior who raised me, but everyone is joking with him as 'hyung.' I almost hit them all on the head."
Jang Do-youn also said, "You know what I mean. 'SNL' juniors step aside, we're first. You know what I mean. Here Kim Won-hoon sits and says 'Dong-yeob hyung,' but we are first!"
