Band CNBLUE's Lee Jeong-shin mentioned the street casting process.
On the 17th, the YouTube channel "There are so many experiences but no one to talk to" uploaded a video titled "We heard the experiences of people born and raised in Ilsan."
That day Lee Jeong-shin said, "Personally, I prepared in high school to enter college with photography. I received my first DSLR from my maternal uncle, so I had to create a portfolio, so I gathered about 10 friends and went to Hongdae for the first time," he said.
He continued, "When we put the ticket into Hongdaeipgu Station and went through, some woman made this gesture with her finger toward me. It turned out she was the casting director from our company," adding, "I originally wanted to work hard with photography and try to go to places like the Korea National University of Arts or Chung-Ang University. But I was street-cast," referring to how he became an entertainer.
In response, Lee Seung-hwan exclaimed, "So you came out to see Seoul and got cast?" and Lee Jeong-shin confessed, "I was totally an Ilsan bumpkin. Somehow I went to Dongdaemun, and because Hongdae was so hot, we decided to go for the first time. I was cast during my first trip to see Seoul, and from then on I lived as a trainee."
