The group Monsta X hinted at a new chapter with an omnibus story.
Starship Entertainment on the 17th released a trailer for Monsta X's new album The Phase, set to be released on Sept. 4, through Monsta X's official channels and heated up comeback anticipation.
In the released video, Monsta X linked individual trailers into one to unfold a single story. From Hyungwon dressed in a suit to Minhyuk entering a room where Santa is tied up, Jooheon doing a back tumbling while eating, Kihyun headbanging as confetti flies at him, and Shownu blowing up a balloon until it bursts, sensory videos flowed together into one.
At the end of the video, scenes of members gathered in one space smashing something or desperately fleeing created a turbulent image that captured attention. Completing an ending like watching a film, it raises expectations for The Phase.
Through The Phase, Monsta X plans to show more refined and sophisticated music and visuals based on their existing identity.
