Starship boy group IDID colored the hot summer with blazing energy.
IDID (IDID·Jang Yonghun, Kim Minjae, Park Wonbin, Chu Yuchan, Park Sunghyun, Baek Junhyuk, Jeong Semin) appeared on the '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' broadcast on the 17th and performed the title track "FLY!" (Jam Ver.) from the IDID single album [FLY!].
At the summer music festival 'SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' for domestic and international K-pop fans, IDID drew attention by appearing for a second consecutive year after performing last year's pre-debut song "STEP IT UP."
That day IDID created a cool atmosphere with styling in white and sky blue colors. Using spray graffiti art for the intro to unleash free-spirited energy, IDID increased the stage immersion with Jang Yonghun's bicycle-riding–like performance and a gesture of throwing a model airplane.
The "FLY!" (Jam Ver.) stage unfolded starting with Kim Minjae's chant sound. From choreography that stamps the feet to a signature move where they spread their arms like an airplane and spin in place, to Park Sunghyun's powerful solo and a freeze, a variety of performances followed.
Above all, IDID's solid live vocals and dynamic performance that filled the wide stage without gaps captured attention. Global K-pop fans also showed enthusiastic reactions such as "The lively rhythm that goes from the intro into 'FLY!' is so exciting," "Our IDID completely took over 'Gayo Daejeon Summer,'" and "Thanks to IDID it feels like the heat has flown away."
IDID's summer activities did not stop there. They also appeared at the '2026 Caribbean Bay Water Music Pool Party' held at Caribbean Bay in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province on the 16th, heating up the scene by performing stages such as "STEP IT UP" and "SLOW TIDE."
They especially emitted IDID's unique energy by maintaining flawless performances even while soaked with water. Vacationers also enjoyed the summer festival together, giving IDID enthusiastic cheers for their stage.
Continuing to meet fans with powerful stages while roaming various summer festivals, IDID will appear at the '2026 K World Dream Awards (K WORLD DREAM AWARDS)' to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan on the 27th. Expectations are rising about what stage they will complete alongside prominent global K-pop artists on the festival stage broadcast live worldwide.
