The group 라이즈 will sing the theme song for Japan's 'Winter Cup 2026'.
SM Entertainment said, "RIIZE's song 'Rise Over', included on their third Japanese single 'Sunburst' to be released on the 26th, will sound as the theme song for the Japanese high school basketball championship 'Winter Cup 2026'."
'Winter Cup 2026' is the 79th national high school basketball championship to be held in Tokyo from Dec. 23 to 29, and RIIZE's song has been chosen as the official cheering song. RIIZE has gained popularity with its signature youthful energy, including being the fastest K-pop boy group to perform at Tokyo Dome, so they have formed a special connection with the Winter Cup this time.
RIIZE said, "We hope to give strength to the players competing in the Winter Cup. We hope this song will become a great cheering song that raises everyone's courage anytime and anywhere beyond the stadium."
