Actor and singer Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo once again showcased their special friendship and quelled rumors of a falling-out.
On the 17th (local time), according to U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six, Ariana Grande surprised fans by inviting Cynthia Erivo, who co-starred with her in the film Wicked, to the 'Eternal Sunshine' tour stage in London last weekend.
The two took the London O2 Arena stage together and sang "For Good" from Wicked: For Good and Barbra Streisand's "Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again." The show sold out, and fans in attendance gave the duo's special duet an enthusiastic ovation.
Especially, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo smiled affectionately at each other throughout the song. The pair's close relationship drew attention again when Ariana Grande was even seen kissing Cynthia Erivo's hand during the performance.
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo played Glinda and Elphaba, respectively, in the 2024 film Wicked and the 2025 sequel Wicked: For Good, where they co-starred. Having built a close friendship while working together, the two frequently made headlines during the film's promotion for often holding hands.
Cynthia Erivo appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show in December 2024 and explained about often holding hands with Ariana Grande, We often hold hands when we walk. If we're not holding hands, we look for each other.
