Actress Jo Aram announced her return to the small screen as an "honest straight forward woman" who will create a gentle ripple in Seo Kang-jun's solid daily life.
A Love Other Than Yours, a new KBS 2TV weekend miniseries that premieres Sept. 12 at 9:20 p.m. (directed by Hwang Seung-gi·Lee Ga-ram, written by Yoo Soo-ji), is a realistic, relatable romantic drama about a couple in their 10th year of dating whose familiar relationship encounters unfamiliar feelings. In stills released on the 18th, Jo Aram's confident charm as Park Soo-a, a junior colleague who will create a precise shake in Namgung-ho (played by Seo Kang-jun)'s daily life, was captured. Namgung-ho is in a 10-year relationship with Lee Mi-do (played by Ahn Eun-jin), whose relationship in the drama is wavering.
Park Soo-a, played by Jo Aram, is a junior colleague who works with Namgung-ho on the Hunmin Confectionery TF snack team 3. She is a character who does not waver from others' views and can express her feelings and thoughts plainly, bringing a quiet change to senior Namgung-ho's familiar routine.
In the released stills, Jo Aram stands facing Namgung-ho with her signature refreshing yet steady gaze, revealing an impressive presence. Even in a comfortable and natural atmosphere, reactions said she brought out the honest and lovable charm of the character.
Having proven solid acting in numerous works such as Doctor Cha, Thank You and To the Moon, Jo Aram is expected to fully capture a new youthful face whose sincerity comes before calculation in this work.
The production team said, "Jo Aram perfectly embodied the honest and plain Park Soo-a character with her unique fresh charm without calculation," and added, "Please look forward to Jo Aram's straight-ahead moves, which will create a vivid ripple in Namgung-ho's daily life and offer new excitement." It will reach viewers in more than 240 countries worldwide through Amazon Prime Video.<
