The group Young Posse (YOUNG POSSE) teams up with emotive illustrator keykney to deliver a poignant emotional ballad.
Young Posse (Jeong Sun-hye, Wi Yeon-jeong, Jia, Do-eun, Han Ji-eun) will release the new track Dreams Come True from the project "Illustration music collabo with keykney" today (18th) at 6 p.m. on various online music sites.
The new song "Dreams Come True" was born from the story of a father who was battling an illness. It conveys the father's last wish and earnest heart — "I want to enter holding my two daughters' hands at their weddings" — delivering deep emotion.
"Someday flowers will bloom in my heart too," "I'll reflect you intact like that final fireworks," and other lyrical lines convey the message that a fervent wish will bear fruit in some form.
In particular, Young Posse draws attention by taking on an emotional ballad for the first time since their debut. Over a guitar intro and calm string sounds, groovy bass and drums blend to capture Young Posse's distinctive hip-hop rhythmic feel and delicate emotional line simultaneously.
This new release is part of a project combining music and illustration, with keykney's evocative artwork and DSP Media Co.'s musical capabilities coming together to enhance the work's completeness.
Meanwhile, Young Posse, who has been actively promoting after releasing the mixtape young tape, will hold a solo concert in Tokyo, Japan, on Sept. 22 titled YOUNG POSSE LIVE : HEY TOKYO 2026. They will then embark on their debut first European tour, Pilot3 : 2026 The 1st FLIGHT TO EUROPE with YOUNG POSSE, visiting five European cities — the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany and Poland — continuing an aggressive global push.
