'Street World Fighter: Director's War' producer hinted at the reason sports stars appeared.
On the 10th in the morning at the Elliena Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Mnet's new survival show 'Street World Fighter: Director's War' held a production presentation. The production presentation was attended by PD Choi Jeong-nam, choreographers Nine, Renan, Bada, Back Kooyoung, Babyju, Shimizu, In-gyu, Jeong Min-jun, Casper and Hash.
'Street World Fighter: Director's War' is a new expansion of Mnet's dance series that, beginning with 'Street Woman Fighter', sparked a 'dance syndrome' in Korea. While the existing series highlighted the competition among world-class 'dancers', this time 'performance directors' who plan and complete stages will take center stage to wage an intense 'work war' by fighting with their heads and proving themselves with their bodies.
In particular, earlier teasers had raised expectations by announcing appearances from well-known sports stars such as Seunroo, Kinjaz co-founder and director Anthony Lee, Sienna Larau as special judges, former national baseball player Oh Seung-hwan, speed skating gold medalist Lee Sang-hwa, and freestyle skier Eileen Gu.
When asked about the roles and recruitment motives of these sports stars, PD Choi Jeong-nam said cautiously, I hope you can see the exact details through the broadcast since the missions have not been carried out yet. We requested their participation because they are preparing missions related to sports, or intended to be related, within the program and we wanted to proceed together. I find it difficult to say more, adding to anticipation for the broadcast.
Meanwhile, 'Street World Fighter: Director's War' will premiere today (the 18th) at 10 p.m.
