Singer-songwriter Hanroro opened the curtain on a dazzling global campaign by successfully concluding her performance at Japan's largest music festival "Summer Sonic 2026."
Hanroro appeared as the opening artist on the PACIFIC STAGE at "Summer Sonic 2026," held on the 14th at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan. This performance was Hanroro's first local show in Japan, and through the large-scale festival she left a strong first impression on global listeners.
Opening the set with "H O M E," Hanroro instantly elevated the atmosphere with a concert-version reinterpretation of "System Error." She then performed her signature hits "0+0", "Let Me Love My Youth", and "Landing in Love" consecutively, prompting mass singing and cheers from the audience.
Finally performing a dense seven-song set including "You and I" and "GAME OVER ?", Hanroro captivated the local audience with delicate yet explosive vocals and band sound. Even on her first overseas festival stage, she demonstrated stage command by naturally interacting with the audience.
Notably, during the performance Hanroro surprised the audience by announcing a first Japan solo showcase on Sept. 8 at Shibuya Pleasure Pleasure in Tokyo, heating up the crowd even more. Showcase tickets opened at noon on the 17th.
Earlier, Hanroro achieved a double crown in the Circle Chart settlement of account for the first half of 2026 by ranking No. 1 simultaneously on the digital chart and streaming chart with her self-composed song "Landing in Love." After topping domestic music charts and conquering a major Japanese festival, attention is growing for Hanroro's upcoming global activities.
Meanwhile, having successfully completed "Summer Sonic 2026," Hanroro will meet local fans again through a Japan solo showcase on Sept. 8.<
