Two hip-hop legends representing Korea will team up for the first time in eight years.
According to their agency Feel Ghood Music, Tiger JK and Yoonmirae will release a new song, "Let Me Love You," on the 20th.
It will be the first time in about eight years that the two have collaborated on a single track since the Drunken Tiger's final full-length album released in November 2018, Drunken Tiger X: Rebirth Of Tiger JK, which included the track "I Love You Too."
"Let Me Love You" is a new attempt that departs from the R&B and hip-hop conventions the two have presented so far. The two participated directly in the songwriting and composition of the track, which teases a seasonally rich sound aimed at the end of a hot summer.
A representative said, "Given that the two have continuously broadened the horizons of popular music throughout their long careers, attention is focused on the new sound they are presenting."
Tiger JK and Yoonmirae plan to open a pop-up store to coincide with the release of the new song, launching new branded goods and clothing simultaneously and continuing their meetings with fans.
