"Innocent power rock vocalist" singer WeJiSu (WeJiSu) unveils a new song, "Romeo (ROMEO)", marking an emotional yet powerful transformation.
WeJiSu today (18th) at 12 p.m. released her third digital single "Romeo (ROMEO)" on various music streaming sites and will premiere the music video on her official SNS channels.
This new song, following "True To Myself" and "6.8-inch world", is a rock ballad track that layers rhythmic sounds and intense rock energy over lyrical ballad sensibilities. As it progresses toward the latter part, explosive sounds and WeJiSu's distinctive refreshing vocals combine to deliver a deeper musical color.
In particular, it draws attention for breaking the classical love story framework of "Romeo" and expressing emotions with a modern sensibility and confident energy.
The accompanying music video maximizes the song's emotional line visually with cinematic direction. Actor Shin Woo-bin (My Name), who drew attention after being invited to the Berlin International Film Festival for the film My Name, from Saram Entertainment, supports as the male lead and performed delicate chemistry with WeJiSu.
