Rapper Taemi (real name Lee Ok-ju) will begin the second act of her life this coming September.
Taemi announced her marriage on the 18th through her social media, saying, "I am getting married. I met someone I want to spend my life with. I want to see them every single day, and they are so precious that I would not hesitate to give them everything."
Taemi said, "Now I will shake off all the hard and lonely times and try to draw a new life with the person I love. I will pour out beautiful works to the world, bring comfort and happiness to more people, and live more happily than anyone else."
Taemi's fiancé is artist Lee Ha. Born in 1995, he held a solo exhibition titled 'Do not stop the fetal movement.' He runs the YouTube channel "Lee Ha's studio," which has about 42,000 subscribers.
Artist Lee also expressed, "I had firmly decided I would never be able to marry, but thankfully here we are. Perhaps because I met such an amazing person, the dry yesterday and today are now coming to life."
Taemi said, "I will have a beautiful wedding on Sept. 13 and greet you again. I thank everyone who blessed us."
Before debuting, Taemi performed under the name 'Napper' and used the name 'E.Via' when she debuted with the 2009 EP album 'E.Via a.k.a Happy E.Vil.' Unusually for a female rapper, she had the ability to rap at over 160 BPM for one minute, earning her the nickname 'female outsider.'
He changed his stage name to Taemi in 2013, and after the album released in 2020 he stopped rapper activities and has been working as an artwork artist since last year.
