Group Blackpink's Jennie expressed apologies regarding the 10th anniversary event.
Jennie posted a lengthy message on the official fan community Weverse on the 17th, saying, "As we celebrated Blackpink's 10th anniversary, I felt very upset that I couldn't properly talk with BLINKs."
He said, "I thought leaving this after finishing the festival's final scheduled performance would convey my feelings better, so I posted," and expressed gratitude, saying, "During the past 10 years, thanks to you, I received a precious time I can never experience again. At every moment, because of the love BLINKs shared, all of us were able to grow and envision a bigger future."
However, regarding the noise surrounding Blackpink's 10th anniversary event, she apologized, saying, "On a day that should have been only celebration for the 10th anniversary, we left each other with regrets, and from my position there is only an inexcusable apology. BLINKs were the greatest blessing and love to us Blackpink. I'm sorry for showing immature sides, and I want to say I am truly grateful for the past 10 years."
She continued, "I keep our bond well in the deepest place in my heart. I once again send happiness and infinite thanks to everyone. Congratulations on the 10th anniversary, and thank you even more for being with us," and added, "I will not forget what I learned and felt from the past time, and I will continue to be Jennie who can deliver love to you all. BLINKs, I love you!"
Blackpink held a meet-and-greet event with 40 randomly selected fans at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul on the 8th to mark their 10th debut anniversary. During this process there were rumors that some members would be absent, but that was not true; all four members attended the meet-and-greet as a full group and communicated with fans through a live broadcast. After the event ended, the members in turn conveyed their feelings and apologies to fans.
