'Boss in the Mirror' Jun Hyun-moo picked his successor.
On the 16th episode of KBS2 'Boss in the Mirror', scenes showed announcers Um Ji-in, Kim Jin-woong and Lee Sang-chul who went down to Jeonju.
Earlier, Lee Sang-chul invited Um Ji-in and Kim Jin-woong to Jeonju for variety mentoring. After checking his house and finishing the live broadcast news, Lee Sang-chul headed to Jeonju Hanok Village with the two. Lee Sang-chul was suddenly given an on-site reporting mission but drew sighs with his old-fashioned delivery, and he drew sharp looks for not bringing his wallet when he said he would buy ice cream, revealing a 'stingy Lee' side.
Yang Jun-hyuk revealed with laughter, "Lee Sang-chul resembles Jun Hyun-moo. I've never been treated by Jun Hyun-moo either," prompting laughs. Jun Hyun-moo admitted, "I was often ripped off by him in Mexico."
At Jeonju Hanok Village, Um Ji-in, Kim Jin-woong and Lee Sang-chul had their palm lines and saju read. Lee Sang-chul asked about saving for a house but was struck by the shocking fortune that although he is frugal his palm line shows money does not accumulate. Kim Jin-woong became downcast at the comment that he would find success in variety later than Lee Sang-chul. Um Ji-in asked which line she should join among Jun Hyun-moo, Kim Sook and Park Myung Soo, and the expert recommended Park Myung Soo.
Um Ji-in invited historical storyteller Sun Kim for Kim Jin-woong and Lee Sang-chul, who dream of being the next Jun Hyun-moo. They started at Jeondong Cathedral and toured parts of Jeonju Hanok Village, learning about Jeonju's vivid history. Sun Kim explained the birth of Hanok Village, saying, "During the Japanese colonial period, Japanese people came down to Jeonju and expanded their influence up to around Pungnammun. It was unacceptable for a Japanese commercial district to arise in the center of Jeonju where the Joseon dynasty was born, so the idea started to buy and protect the hanok village."
While learning about the meaning of Pungnammun and the origin of blood sausage, Sun Kim talked about Jun Hyun-moo. Sun Kim, who did a program with Jun Hyun-moo and lives in the apartment Jun Hyun-moo once lived in, said, "I never saw Jun Hyun-moo treat for a meal. Lee Chan-won paid." Um Ji-in agreed, saying, "Jun Hyun-moo was stingy even when he worked at KBS," drawing laughs. Jun Hyun-moo self-deprecatingly said, "I used the money I saved to buy cosmetics at an airport duty-free shop. I bought good cosmetics and gave them to my then-girlfriend, but my mother still asks where those cosmetics are."
Watching the video, Jun Hyun-moo said, "Lee Sang-chul won in Jeonju," showing his intention to recruit him to his team. Special MC KiiiKiii, who joined as a special MC, also said, "I also think Lee Sang-chul won. Kim Jin-woong's gags were not that good," drawing laughs.
