The group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) introduced a new single in Japan and has launched a full-scale effort to win over local fans.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER officially opened the digital release and the music video for the title track of their fifth Japanese single, "Setsuna Hanabi" (セツナハナビ/세츠나하나비), at 12 a.m. on the 17th. This new release includes the title track as well as original new songs "Silence," "Nice to Meet Ya," and another version of the title track, for a total of four tracks.
The title track "Setsuna Hanabi," in the Brazilian funk genre, compares an approaching moment of farewell to late-summer night fireworks. The five members' delicate and plaintive vocals capture the aching desire for the relationship to continue even while knowing it is ending.
The music video released on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel stands out with a cinematic presentation. Scenes alternate between Subin submerged in sorrow, Yeonjun riding a motorcycle wildly, Beomgyu plucking a guitar alone, Taehyun rushing out of a hospital, and Hueningkai focusing on kendo, offering a lingering emotional impact as the members endure their wounds and memories of happier times are intercut.
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will hold a premium live performance at Tokyo Garden Theater alongside the physical release of their fifth single on the 19th. Then, on Sept. 26 (local time), they will perform as this year's only Korean artist at the 2026 Global Citizen Festival held in Central Park, New York.
