Actor Jeon Hye-won is falsely accused of murder overnight and faces the biggest crisis of her life.
Today (17) at 7:50 p.m., KBS 2TV daily drama A Trap Called Desire (directed by Lee Dae-kyung, Jung Kwang-soo / written by Koo Ji-won) episode 6 will feature a shocking development in which Go Eun-seol (played by Jeon Hye-won) becomes an unjust murder suspect and stands in court.
In the earlier episode, Joo Mi-ran, the adopted mother of Cheongma Group (played by Jang Seo-hee), committed the shocking atrocity of causing the fall death of an old friend, Park Hee-jung (played by Suh You-jung), who knew her identity laundering and past secrets. Go Eun-seol, Park Hee-jung's adopted daughter, who went to the scene, held her collapsed adoptive mother and wept, but ultimately fell into the trap set by Joo Mi-ran and was immediately accused of killing her adoptive mother.
Ahead of episode 6, photos released show Go Eun-seol in a prison uniform waiting for the verdict with an anxious and desperate expression, evoking sympathy. In contrast, Joo Mi-ran, sitting casually in a corner of the courtroom wearing sunglasses, presents a cold and chilling figure, heightening tension with the contrast.
Also present and waiting for the outcome in a grim atmosphere are adoptive father Go Gi-han (played by Choi Jae-won), brother Go Eun-guk (played by Park Sung-kyu), and the lawyer Seo Hyun-jae (played by Jang Se-hyun), drawing attention to whether they can rescue Go Eun-seol from Joo Mi-ran's cruel trap.
The production team said, "Joo Mi-ran's actions to protect her own desires and secrets drive Go Eun-seol toward an uncontrollable catastrophe," and noted, "an unpredictable development that you will not be able to take your eyes off for a single moment will unfold."<
