"Waterbomb goddess" Kwon Eunbi took over Türkiye's largest music festival, showcasing the majesty of a "global festival queen."
Kwon Eunbi captivated local audiences when she took the stage at Istanbul's Festival Park Yenikapı for the Istanbul Festivali on the 14th (local time).
The Istanbul Festival, now in its fifth year, is Türkiye's largest-scale music festival. Kwon Eunbi was invited as the first K-pop artist alongside Monsta X, Sunmi and ATEEZ, drawing anticipation.
The roughly 50,000 spectators gathered that day erupted in thunderous cheers the moment Kwon Eunbi appeared. Kwon Eunbi delivered a nonstop, diverse set, starting with her solo debut song "Door," followed by "Hi," "Hello Stranger," "Unnatural," and her signature hit "Underwater."
On her cover of pop singer Dua Lipa's "Levitating," Kwon Eunbi ignited Istanbul's night with her solid vocal power, powerful performance and commanding stage manner that overwhelmed the crowd. It was a moment when her ability to embody concepts ranging from refreshing to alluringly charismatic shone through.
Having swept domestic college festivals and large-scale festivals, Kwon Eunbi has recently been greatly expanding her scope to overseas stages.
