Translator Ahn Hyun-mo was moved by the screenplay of Christopher Nolan's film "The Odyssey 2026".
On the 16th, Ahn Hyun-mo posted photos and videos to her social account. Ahn Hyun-mo wrote, "Finally I can slowly reread the film." The book Ahn Hyun-mo was holding was 'THE ODYSSEY', the author's name was Christopher Nolan, and on the head of the book it was written 'complete Screenplay' meaning screenplay, adaptation.
Recently, Na Hong-jin's film "HOPE", Marvel's Spider-Man "brand new day", and Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey 2026" have been released one after another, keeping cinemas constantly crowded, and the seats at the Yongsan I'Park Mall IMAX theater, known as the pinnacle of IMAX and nicknamed "YongAMAC," became a pilgrimage site of popularity where even scalped tickets were sold.
Ahn Hyun-mo rejoiced that she could savor director Nolan's "The Odyssey 2026" among them. Her occupation is translator and interpreter, and her family is known as a 'language genius DNA' family with as many as four translators.
Internet users reacted variously, saying, "Sometimes when I read foreign books or watch foreign films I wonder if that translation is correct, if that emotion is correct, I'm so curious but really jealous," "I want to live as a language genius," and "I'm most envious of people good at foreign languages."
Meanwhile, Ahn Hyun-mo attended Daewon Foreign Language High School and Seoul National University, worked as a reporter and interpreter, and currently also carries out broadcasting activities.
