Blackpink's Lisa expressed apologies to fans following members Jeesoo and Rosé.
Lisa on the 14th indirectly referred to the controversy over the 10th anniversary event and apologized through a fan communication platform.
On that day Lisa said, "Blinks (fandom name), hello. I hope you are all doing well in this hot summer weather. First, our 10th anniversary has already been almost a week since it passed."
She went on to apologize, saying, "As you all know, recently there have been various comments circulating online. Because of that I am also heartbroken, and I sincerely apologize for how the situation unfolded."
Earlier, Blackpink marked their 10th anniversary on the 8th and held a meet-and-greet event at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul with 40 fans randomly selected. During the process there were rumors that some members would not attend, but the members attended the event as a full group and met with fans.
Lisa said, "I was also heartbroken, so I can hardly imagine how upset you all must have been. It was supposed to be a very special and joyful celebration for all of us."
She added, "I did not come here to make excuses or press my claims. I only wanted to honor the love and bond we shared," and said, "I am truly grateful that we were able to be together. I hope that on the road ahead we can always hold the love we shared together."
Finally, Lisa conveyed, "I love you, Blinks, and thank you for always being by our side."
