Comedian Park So-young shared her excitement and practical concerns as she prepares for childbirth, while close friend Kim Min-kyung stepped up as a solid supporter by preparing a surprise baby shower.
On the April 14 episode of Channel A's Groom's Class, Park So-young revealed the daily life of an expectant mother. She drew viewers' attention by revealing everything from her love story with husband Moon Kyung-chan to preparations for welcoming the baby, the final-month checkup and the baby shower.
That day Park So-young said she decided to appear on Groom's Class for her husband Moon Kyung-chan. The two, who had known each other through acquaintances, felt a spark after meeting separately, and after Park So-young's persistent courtship they developed into a couple, she recalled.
The two spent busy days as expectant parents decorating a room for the baby soon to be born. Park So-young worried that the baby's crib would receive direct air from the air conditioner, and Moon Kyung-chan moved the crib according to his wife's request.
Although childbirth was imminent, Park So-young worried that preparations still did not seem perfect, and Moon Kyung-chan's silent compliance with his wife's requests showed a realistic daily life no different from that of many expectant couples, drawing attention.
Later Park So-young, worried about natural childbirth, visited an obstetrics and gynecology clinic for a final-month checkup. Fortunately, she breathed a sigh of relief after the doctor said both the baby and the mother were healthy.
