'I Live Alone' Jun Hyun-moo took an impromptu trip to Kazakhstan and met local fans.
On the 14th episode of MBC variety show I Live Alone (hereafter I Live Alone), Jun Hyun-moo was shown packing spontaneously and leaving for a 2 Days & 1 Night trip to Kazakhstan.
After a seven-hour flight, Jun Hyun-moo arrived in Kazakhstan and visited his first market, 'Green Bazaar.' While looking around the market, Jun Hyun-moo exclaimed in surprise, "Oh? It's kimchi."
They were selling Korean kimchi under the name oriental-style salad. Jun Hyun-moo tasted napa cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi and carrot kimchi in order and said, "It's saltier than in Korea but it's good."
Regarding the carrot kimchi, that is, kareyski, he explained, "(At the time the Soviet army) forcibly relocated ethnic Koreans to land that couldn't be farmed, so this came about. They wanted to eat kimchi but there was no napa cabbage, so they made it with carrots. It's a sad history."
After buying kimchi and about to leave, someone beside him drew attention by greeting him in Korean, "Mu oppa, hello." They were local fans who had watched I Live Alone. Kian84 was surprised and said, "So this was one of our Hallyu programs," and Jun Hyun-moo joked, "No matter where you go, MZ are crazy about it."
More local fans who recognized Jun Hyun-moo continued to appear. One local said their SNS had six followers and that one of them was Jun Hyun-moo, and they took a commemorative photo.
At the impromptu fan meeting, Jun Hyun-moo said, "It was so amazing. Why do Saudi Arabian men like me so much? From their perspective am I an actor award? From the Arabs' perspective I think I'm a tofu award," showing confidence.
