Actor Moon Ji-in and comedian Kim Gi-ri moved before giving birth.
Moon Ji-in posted a video titled "We are moving!! One-month storage move + giving birth in the middle.. life is truly unpredictable!!" on the YouTube channel 'Acquaintance of an acquaintance' on the 15th.
In the video, Moon Ji-in said, "It has been three years since we got married, and this is the last night in our first newlywed home. We are moving tomorrow. We will do a one-month storage move and move back in one month after remodeling."
She said, "So I have been constantly getting rid of stuff. I threw away half of it. I really plan to live strictly minimalist." and "We did not pack a single bag for wandering around for a month, and we did not pack a childbirth bag either. Because it is a storage move, if anything is damaged, 100% compensation is possible."
Before moving, Moon Ji-in invited friends to help sort items, and on moving day she said, "Maybe because it was a storage move, we had to be very careful so nothing was loaded incorrectly, but in the end there was a mistake and they couldn't take out my laptop and things I needed to use for the month, so the company had to retrieve them. My husband made a huge mistake, so he is feeling very down and is acting very self-conscious."
After the move while eating, Moon Ji-in said, "This schedule is absurd. I will go down to my parents' home for three days, then go to a lodging. I will stay at the lodging for two weeks, then go to give birth, then stay at a Birthcare Center, and then go to the new home."
Moon Ji-in and Kim Gi-ri, who married in May 2024, became a couple and soon after became pregnant but suffered the pain of a miscarriage. After trying procedures such as in vitro fertilization to have a child, the couple conceived naturally and welcomed a new life, and on the morning of the 7th they gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
