Comedian Kim Won-hyo mentioned his wife Shim Jin-hwa's subtle power play.
On the 14th, a video titled "The man who lives together" was released on the YouTube channel "임하룡쇼."
That day 임하룡 explained, "I originally planned to invite them earlier, and I intended to invite Jinhwa together, but Jinhwa is close friends with So Yu-jin. So the two of them came together."
In response, Kim Won-hyo said, "In a way I'm married, and although we're considered a loving couple, there is a subtle sense of competition even between us."
He continued, "For example, in the past it was Gag Concert versus Laughter. Who's more popular, you or me? There's that. We don't have big marital fights, but when one of us sulks, we talk about the old days. How many percentage did you record? Things like that," he said.
Kim Won-hyo said, "Then if I feel I'm slightly behind... when measured by ratings I was losing. Although Gag Concert did well, Laughter had times of tremendous ratings. So I was a bit behind."
Kim Won-hyo added, "So I say, 'How many awards do you have?' It's a bit childish. I still have rookie award, excellence award, and grand prize. Then (Shim Jin-hwa) squeals."
Meanwhile, Kim Won-hyo married fellow comedienne Shim Jin-hwa in September 2011.
