Actor Kim Minjoung summoned "Mr. Sunshine" on Liberation Day.

The released photos captured Kudo Hina, whom Kim Minjoung played in the drama "Mr. Sunshine." Kim Minjoung shared stills that showed her signature deep gaze and delicate emotions, recalling memories of that time. On the 15th, the 81st anniversary of Liberation Day, she recalled the character from the work and celebrated in her own way.
"Mr. Sunshine," which aired in 2018, is a work set in the late Joseon period that tells the stories of people who, though not recorded in history, tried to protect their homeland in their own ways amid the turmoil of Joseon.
Kim Minjoung played Kudo Hina, who had a pro-Japanese father, Lee Wan-ik (played by Kim Eui-sung), and delivered an impressive performance. As the Joseon character Lee Yang-hwa, she was a figure who chose a different path from her father and walked her own way.
