Actor Kim Hee-ae paid tribute to the late director Ahn Pan-seok.
On the 14th, Kim Hee-ae posted on her personal social media, "Watching everyone laugh together while looking at the monitor, it really seems like it was a happy set," along with a message and photos.
The released photos are some still cuts from the drama "Secret Love Affair," and Kim Hee-ae worked with the late director Ahn Pan-seok on this work and the drama "The Rights of My Wife."
Kim Hee-ae, reacting to the news of the late director's passing, said, "Thanks to the director, I was able to work on two great projects," and added, "Director, who recognized my acting and gave me precious opportunities, I sincerely thank and respect you."
Earlier, director Ahn Pan-seok collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage on the 12th and died while receiving treatment without recovering. He was 64.
The late person's funeral wake was set up at Seoul National University Hospital's funeral hall, and the funeral will be held on the 15th. At the request of the bereaved family, the entire funeral process will be private.
Meanwhile, after joining Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) in 1987, director Ahn Pan-seok directed dramas such as "A Woman Who Lowers Her Head," "Partner," "Roses and Bean Sprouts," "Ajumma," and "White Tower."
Later, he produced many hit works such as the drama "The Rights of My Wife," "Secret Love Affair," "Heard It Through the Grapevine," "Something in the Rain," "Romance Is a Bonus Book," "Graduation," and "The Art of Negotiation," earning a reputation as a "melo master." Director Ahn Pan-seok, who was scheduled to release "Love Doctor" as his next work, will have that project as his final directed work.
