French language expert and broadcaster Jeong Il-young attempted to post on the Risenne fan cafe.
On the 12th, a video titled 'Can't go out until grandpa learns (father Chimchakman)' was posted on the YouTube channel "Malignant introvert Jeong Il-young."
That day Jeong Il-young received digital education from Chimchakman. He said he wanted to leave a congratulatory message for Risenne winning first place on a music show and mentioned Risenne leader Wonyi.
Jeong Il-young said Risenne was the last idol of his life and explained, "(Wonyi and I) both struggled at first and broadcasted together, but after that we both did well. Through that connection I want to congratulate them on first place on a music show."
Chimchakman suggested, "There is an artist fan community," and proposed leaving a post there. Signing up with the nickname "ChimchakmanIlyeong," Jeong Il-young shared a tip: "If you put 'Chimchakman' before your name you get fewer insults," which drew laughter.
Afterwards Jeong Il-young left a congratulatory comment for Risenne's music show first place along with his photo. Seeing this, Chimchakman teased, "That's a pretty strong attempt to attract attention," and joked, "He normally doesn't post his photo."
Meanwhile, Jeong Il-young is a veteran instructor who studied in France for 10 years and has 30 years of teaching experience. Currently lecturing at Inha University and others, his life changed after meeting creator Chimchakman.
The video he appeared in to share knowledge about France racked up explosive views and overnight made Jeong Il-young a "sudden star." He said, "I'm not rowing when the tide comes in; I'm swimming."
