'Groom's Class 2' Park So-young and Moon Kyung-chan revealed their daughter's face and shared behind-the-scenes stories from their first meeting to marriage.
On the 14th broadcast of Channel A variety show 'Groom's Class 2', comedian Park So-young and former baseball player Moon Kyung-chan's new love house was revealed.
That day Park So-young said, "I used to be alone, but now I have returned as three with my husband," proudly showing her full-term D-line. He said he is currently 10 months pregnant and "we can meet in 26 days."
Park So-young said she returned to 'Groom's Class' because "my husband is the best groom material for me, but while I prepare for childcare my husband is doing nothing," and that she wanted to enroll in the course.
They are a couple with a five-year age difference, an older-woman, younger-man pairing. When asked about their first meeting, Park So-young said, "I originally knew him through an acquaintance. After he retired we met separately in Seoul, and seeing him after a long time I thought he was such a great person. From then on I actively pursued him," and said they married seven months after dating.
On the other hand, worrying most about childbirth, she said, "My husband is truly the best husband for putting up with living with me. I am really so grateful," but added, "Although my husband is the best husband to me, he doesn't seem very prepared to be a father, so I can't teach him everything one by one."
Moon Kyung-chan said, "I'm the type who's strong in practical situations. I'm confident in my improvisation when something suddenly happens, so I'm not very worried."
Later Park So-young and Moon Kyung-chan visited the obstetrics and gynecology clinic and for the first time revealed Merry's (nickname) face. Seeing a look exactly like her father Moon Kyung-chan, Park So-young said, "So cute."
Meanwhile Lee Seung-Chul asked, "Did you originally have pregnancy plans?" Park So-young said, "As soon as we married we had everything ready for a honeymoon baby. It didn't come easily. While preparing for natural pregnancy it didn't work, so we did the first IVF, and were going to do the second right away but my ovaries were swollen and I was told to rest for a month. During that rest I tried natural pregnancy."
The panelists reacted, "Didn't you try too much?" and "You lost a lot of weight compared to before," and, "It's not like Moon Kyung-chan lost weight for no reason," prompting laughter.
Meanwhile, Park So-young held her wedding with five-years-younger former baseball player Moon Kyung-chan on Dec. 22, 2024.
