"Fresh off the Sea 3" took first place in its time slot for a third consecutive week.

The episode ranked first in its time slot including cable and comprehensive channels based on households in the Seoul metropolitan area, rising to the top for three consecutive weeks. The show also ranked first in the tvN target demographic of men and women 20-49 nationwide across all channels including terrestrial broadcasters, continuing its strong popularity. On the first night in Tongyeong, the four siblings and Park Hae-jun found a noraebang and fully unleashed their excitement. As soon as the music started, Kang Youseok changed at once and "the entertainment ringleader" Roh Yoon-seo warmed up the atmosphere with the youngest members' antics, and the unique chemistry between Park Hae-jun and Kang Youseok, who acted as father and son in When Life Gives You Tangerines, also drew laughs.

To obtain ingredients for the curry showdown, the four people played a game of chance, and when a fishing vehicle appeared before them, an unexpected "kidnapping" unfolded. However, the team that pulled onions headed to Geoje Island while Kang Youseok, who pulled potatoes, was excluded from the fishing. Excited by the unexpected exemption from fishing, Kang Youseok ran to Yum Jung-ah, and Yum Jung-ah's and Kang Youseok's tense standoff, which she found suspicious, elicited another laugh.
Arriving at Songjin village on Geoje Island, the onion expedition immediately changed into work clothes and began harvesting onions. Next the long-awaited curry showdown began. The cooking contest, staged for Yum Jung-ah, who usually likes curry, added fun with a concept reminiscent of Culinary Class Wars. Kim Sunyoung and Park Hae-jun competed under the names "Untcurry" and "Tongtong ravioli Juns," respectively; Kang Youseok as "Indo Mafia"; and Roh Yoon-seo, attempting her first-ever curry, entered the fierce competition under the name "Soy no hidden."
The cooking processes were each full of personality. Kim Sunyoung added apple and cheese to a familiar home-style curry, Kang Youseok used caramelized onions, Roh Yoon-seo employed yuzu syrup and coffee grounds as her secret ingredients, and Park Hae-jun completed a unique curry served with dumplings.
Judge "Chef Yum" Yum Jung-ah chose Park Hae-jun's curry as first and Kim Sunyoung's curry as last, but when evaluations from a five-person public judging panel were added the rankings were completely reversed. The final first place went to Kim Sunyoung, second to Kang Youseok, third to Roh Yoon-seo, and last to Park Hae-jun.
Upset by the unexpected result, Park Hae-jun exploded in anger saying I'll never come again, and even declared a boycott of Fresh off the Sea, delivering big laughs until the end.
