'Youngkeukeu' global idol CORTIS meets fans through a pop-up store.
A pop-up store touched by CORTIS's (CORTIS) hand opened to celebrate their first anniversary.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) will hold the '2026 CORTIS TOUR 'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN' BIRTHDAY PARTY POP-UP' in Seongdong District, Seoul from today (14th) to the 20th. On the 18th, to commemorate the team's first anniversary, it will offer visitors a meaningful experience.
The display zone is eye-catching with decorations that are highly symbolic to CORTIS and COER (the fandom name). First, a 2-meter-high 'CORTIS ball' greets visitors at the entrance. The CORTIS ball is a doll designed as the team's official logo. It was previously released in the form of merchandise for mini albums 1 and 2 (CORTIS Ball ver.) and received much love.
Members' handwriting and drawings that they personally used and created are applied to the walls and windows, creating a friendly yet raw atmosphere. They visualized the spirit of the tour title 'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN' and its contained message 'let's play together' in a distinctive way; the tour runs in Korea, North America and Japan through September. In the merch zone, visitors can see actual samples of specially produced 'BIRTHDAY PARTY' products. These are items planned and produced with the artists to celebrate the first anniversary.
In just one year since debut, CORTIS has become a global trendsetter by generating buzz across music, performance and fashion. Their mini album 2 'GREENGREEN', released this May, entered No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' and has remained on the chart for 13 consecutive weeks (as of the Aug. 13 chart). They will hold a first-anniversary concert, '2026 CORTIS TOUR 'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN' BIRTHDAY PARTY', at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on the 22nd and 23rd.
Meanwhile, CORTIS's fashion recently drew attention by influencing the film HOPE. The wardrobe of the film's protagonist Seong-gi (played by Zo In-sung) and his group resembled CORTIS's concept, leading to the blended nickname 'Hortis' combining 'HOPE' and CORTIS.
