Singer Park Seojin marks Liberation Day with a meaningful 8.15km run and visits a restaurant run by descendants of national merit recipients to reward them with a big purchase.
Siblings Park Seojin and Hyojeong embark on a special historical run to commemorate Liberation Day.
On the 15th (Sat) at 9:20 p.m., KBS 2TV Mr. House Husband season 2 (hereinafter Mr. House Husband) will air an episode in which Park Seojin and his younger sister Hyojeong challenge an 8.15km historical run following the footsteps of independence activists.
Recently interested in history, Park Seojin starts from Tapgol Park, the starting point of the March 1 movement, together with history storyteller Sun Kim. The Park siblings run along the footsteps of independence activists, learning the history tied to each place, and then at Seodaemun Prison they confront the prison cells where independence activists were actually held and the harsh conditions, leaving them visibly shocked. Through hands-on historical running—running, seeing and learning—the previously unknown stories of independence activists will vividly unfold.
After the historical run, Park Seojin said, "I want to go beyond learning history and express my gratitude," and visited a restaurant run by descendants of national merit recipients to spend 815,000 won on a "don-zzul" reward.
To achieve the goal, Park Seojin's secret reinforcement, middle school ssireum team students, also join. Accordingly, Hyojeong, known for her exceptional appetite as a "mukbang fairy," also joins the all-time best eating broadcast, and unexpectedly Hyojeong even makes a surprise move by running again during the meal to eat more, promising laughs.
