JYP Entertainment's band Xdinary Heroes decided to cancel a fan meeting after leader Geon Il's withdrawal.
JYP Entertainment said on the 14th, "We take fans' worries and concerns about Xdinary Heroes' future activities very seriously, and after sufficient discussions with the artists, we are reorganizing the activity direction and schedule so that Xdinary Heroes can continue team activities stably going forward."
It added, "After careful discussion about the scheduled events, we have regrettably decided to cancel the Xdinary Heroes 3RD FANMEETING, which was scheduled to be held from Sept. 18 to 20, 2026, at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium."
It continued, "We sincerely apologize for delivering this sudden news to fans who have waited for and anticipated the fan meeting for a long time. Apart from the fan meeting, Xdinary Heroes' future activities will proceed as planned without disruption."
Xdinary Heroes announced that member Geon Il terminated his contract and left the team the previous day over the recent controversy of 'fans' insults.'
In response, JYP Entertainment said, "Regarding the recent matter related to member Geon Il, we recognize the seriousness of the situation and have had extensive discussions with the artist from multiple angles," and announced the withdrawal.
