"EJAE" revealed the wedding rings she and her fiancé Sam Kim shared.
EJAE on the 14th posted multiple photos along with the caption So grateful to have someone I can call home. 9 years together and many more years to go and '샘과 함께 한 9년'.
The released photos show EJAE taking pictures of wedding rings that matched those of her fiancé Sam. The wedding rings are from high-end brand T and are known to far exceed the mid-20 million won range. When the two prices are added together, they are reported to exceed 50 million won. EJAE left an affectionate comment saying I'm so grateful to have someone I can call home. Nine years together, and let's spend many more years together, and she lovingly embraced her fiancé.
Although the two have not held a formal wedding yet, it drew attention that in Western cultures many people place more importance on engagements than weddings, reflecting their deep trust and faith in each other.
Meanwhile, EJAE and Sam Kim met during a 2017 songwriting session and became a couple, and they got engaged at the end of 2023. Sam Kim is a Korean American music producer who proposed in January by placing a ring on EJAE's left ring finger. Their wedding will be held on Nov. 7 at a golf course in Los Angeles, U.S., operated by EJAE's mother, Shin Hye-jin, vice chairwoman of Seyoung Enterprise.
EJAE also composed and sang the theme song "Golden" for the Netflix global hit film K-pop Demon Hunters and won the original song award at the 98th Academy Awards. In June this year, she also performed the official theme song with Andrea Bocelli at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA CONCACAF World Cup held at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico.
