Actress Ha Jiwon showed concern that she might be refused entry to a club because of her age.
On the 13th, the YouTube channel I'm Class of 26 Jiwon (hereafter "I'm Class of 26") uploaded a video titled "No club? Club? Top student Ha Jiwon's first-life deviation challenge. Did Jiwon succeed in entering a New York club? | I'm Class of 26 Jiwon episode 21."
That day, Ha Jiwon recounted the behind-the-scenes story of attempting the ceremonial first pitch for the Boston Red Sox during the MLB regular season at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, last July.
On the day before the first pitch, she drew attention as she spent day and night in New York. As evening fell, Ha Jiwon, who wanted to visit a New York club with the production team, asked AI questions while they were looking for a venue.
Ha Jiwon asked AI bluntly, "Is there no age limit for clubs? Is it OK for those over 40?" She was relieved when told that entry is allowed as long as one is not a minor, and she asked again, "I'm in a T-shirt and sneakers; is that dress code okay?"
But she was soon disappointed to hear that clubs do not open on Mondays. Ha Jiwon and the production team visited a rooftop bar instead of a club.
Seeing many people gathered outside, Ha Jiwon ran and lined up, and when a guard checked something from customers she worried, "Won't they check IDs and refuse entry?"
But soon after entering the venue, Ha Jiwon joked, "It seems like a hot place. Thank you for letting me in." In conversation with the production team about clubs, she said, "I haven't gone to clubs. Isn't it obvious?" When asked if she wanted to try DJing, she added, "I'm afraid I'd get so into it that I'd quit acting," which made people laugh.
