Singer Park Minsu expressed his affectionate feelings for his mother.
Park Minsu appeared on SBS LoveFM's 'Insaeng-eun Audition,' which aired on the 12th, and performed in the third-round 'life song ranking' competition.
Having placed first in the second match of round 2 and advanced to round 3, Park Minsu chose Na Hoon-a's 'Chinjeong eomma,' saying, "My mother lives in Seocheon and goes down to the countryside every week to take care of my grandparents and look after her son," adding, "My grandmother said she wanted to live a long time because of her grandchild, and I chose this song for the mothers who lived their whole lives for their families."
With a restrained voice focusing on the lyrics, Park Minsu conveyed a lyrical sentiment in his own sensibility and left a lingering impression. Hong Kyung-min said, "His expressiveness is really good. Expressiveness is very important no matter what genre of song you sing. That part was impressive," and Geum Jan-di said, "Singing as if speaking was pleasant to listen to. It was neat and clean," adding, "He showed a Park Minsu–ized rhythm. It wasn't Na Hoon-a's song but Park Minsu's 'Chinjeong eomma.'"
Amid the praise, Park Minsu received a high score of 187 points. Park Minsu said, "I am grateful that my effort and sincerity were recognized. I hope it becomes a nostalgic song that makes someone think of their mother or daughter."
