Actor Jung Eun-pyo warned people to be cautious of a scam impersonating his son Jung Ji-woong.
On the 13th Jung Eun-pyo revealed the DM he received on his personal channel, saying, "A few days ago a subscriber reported something to me. There is an influencer using videos and photos of me and Ji-woong to organize a book group purchase."
The disclosed DM contained content that an influencer was quoting Jung Eun-pyo's son Jung Ji-woong to organize a book group purchase. Jung Eun-pyo explained, "Ji-woong and I both like the book, but I felt that advertising it without permission is a different matter, so I politely commented asking them to delete it."
Jung Eun-pyo added, "At first they sent me the copy they were using for the advertisement via DM. It was probably intended to convey that the book is good and that someone praised it — overall positive content. Saying a book is good doesn't mean you can do that. Fortunately they immediately took it down and contacted me to apologize. I blocked that person, and while I wonder if blocking will have any impact on them, blocking is the best action I can take."
Jung Eun-pyo and his son Jung Ji-woong appeared on SBS "Bungeoppang" and received much love. In particular, Jung Ji-woong drew attention for having an IQ of 167 and entering Seoul National University (Seoul National University).
